Team

David Novell
I am a multidisciplinary artist who for years has been researching through music, painting, gestural theater and clowning, my own form of expression. I have been fortunate to work and learn alongside great masters such as Eric de Bont, Encarna de las Heras, Piero Partigianoni, Isaac Alvarez, Yumiko Yoshioka and Shahar Dor among others.
From each one I have taken some gift that today makes me the creator that I am. In 2009 we created the Clownidoscopio Teatre Company, in these almost 10 years of believing and creating together we have given life to numerous family shows and in each one of them we have been growing as a company, as artists and as people, thanks to that prespective that It gives you to share your imagination with children from different cultures and
countries.

Monma Mingot
Born in Tornabous (Lleida) in 1987. Feeling enthusiastic with stages since I was child, I found my artistic place in music and performing arts studying clown with Eric de Bont, Jean Meningue and Michel Dallaire and learning from masters like Encarna de las Heras, Isaac Alvarez, Yumiko Yoshioka and Shahar Dor. I co-founded Clownidoscopio Teatre and I have been part of the dance-theater company Shahar Dor Company. In addition, I have participated in music projects with Hang, voice and body percussion and improvisation theater projects. At the moment I act and I direct with Clownidoscopio Teatre, a project in which every day I learn and I enjoy equal parts sharing with kids and adults creations full of soul.

Victòria Kersul
I graduated as a Film Producer at the Film School of INCAA (Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales de Argentina). And I did the postgraduate course in Cultural Industries of the National Universidad de Tres de Febrero. In the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, I was Coordinator of the Baset (Buenos Aires Film Set). I have experience in film, television and advertising audiovisual productions, both in Argentina and in France. At the Argentine Embassy in Paris, I worked coordinating cultural events and promoting Argentine culture at International Fairs and Festivals. With Refugi, I have joined Clownidoscopio Teatre to contribute my experience as a creative producer and expand the horizons of the company.

Julián Ain Coen (“Pek”)
Born in Montevideo, grown and trained in Buenos Aires, the winds of adventure helped me to emigrate to Spain in ’05. Sound technician by profession, with years of experience both live and in studio. As setups,
operation and stage assistance, working for several companies with groups such as Alpha Blondy, Calle 13 or Groundation, among others. But enjoying above all things my true passion, the music, I am a founder and member of the band Flordhiguera. After 10 years in Ibiza, I get into the world of theater by the hands of the clowns ….. not easy, not because the tangles of cables, climbing long stairs to fit the lights or adjust the wireless microphones. Rather to learn to wear red nose …. and I have to say that I love being part of this team!
